My boys are 4 and 6 and incredibly brave. My oldest has been asking for a bunk bed for about two years and we finally decided after moving that he and his little brother were ready. It did not take long to assemble. You definitely need two people so as to hold parts together. But over all as long as the instructions are followed it goes quickly. And the height is perfect! My boys have already jumped off of it which is against the rules, but seeing as they are boys it¡¯s going to happen, and no injuries! I am able to relax and not worry. It really is the perfect little bunk bed! And sturdy enough for us never to worry!

This product took about a month to arrive. So, we live in Alaska and not the lower 48, which may have contributed to the delay. As seen in the photo, the box was beat up well. Yes, all the parts fit in this box that weighed about 85 pounds. It may be best to have some help. I managed to put this together alone; however, when it came to attaching the railings, I had assistance. The product comes tightly packed, although the box was beat up, I uploaded a photo of one of the railings that appears to be bruised. Everything fit and was easy to put together.

I usually don¡¯t write reviews, but as someone who reads them and relies on other peoples word, I decided to give a review on this bed. I bought it for my 4 & 2 year olds. It is perfect. The instructions and labeling of products were very clear. I put it together by myself (at 28 weeks pregnant) and got it up within a few hours. And that was taking multiple breaks to help my kids do things, or fix lunch for them. I¡¯m sure it could be put up much faster with two people. Most of it was easy to assemble. The only part I struggled with was screwing the slats that hold the mattress, but I am only 5¡¯1¡± and it was a little tough to get enough leverage for the top bunk. The bottom bunk was no problem. When the person on the top bunk moves around, I can¡¯t feel it in the bottom bunk. My children are in love with their big kid bed and I highly recommend it. Worth every penny.

It was delivered in a large box that had minor damage on the outside but fortunately no pieces were damaged or missing. It took a few hours for two people to assemble, and just like Ikea furniture only had pictures to follow. But they were clear and easy to follow.
